Honors Math Seminar Students Present Capstone Projects

Recently, seniors in Honors Math Seminar: Advanced Topics, taught by Verla Strain, presented their capstone projects.
Aaron Xiong’s (pictured left) project was on Markov Chains and Their Applications, Vinny Sharma’s (pictured center) was on The p and np Problem, and David De Coursy’s (pictured right) was on Tensors and Their Applications.
This class is designed for students who have completed AP Calculus BC and are interested in studying pure and/or applied mathematics in college.
